Here's what people are saying about Project
June Bug:
"Competently written and clearly based on Minniti's experience
and passion for teaching." - US Review of Books
“Project
June Bug goes to the head of the class. Smart, funny, poignant, and relevant, it captures the best and the
worst of a system where no child should be left behind.”
-George Anastasia, reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer
and author of The Last Gangster
"If you ever wondered what it is like
to teach high school, read this book. It's all here—kids, parents, administrators, colleagues and more. In Jenna Bianchi, readers
are treated to a true teacher with all her heart, dedication, aspirations, disappointments, frustrations, and pains. She captivated
me from page one. Minniti has created not only a great read with engaging characters but a self-help book for any parent with
an ADHD child. Like her main character, Minniti has the heart of a teacher and the wit of a Jersey girl."
—Carol
Ringold, Psy.D., licensed psychologist
“Project June Bug is a great story about
the differences in our behavior patterns. It also provides wonderful insight into Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD). A must-read for parents and students.”
—Cody Fowler Davis, author
of Green 61
"With focus and characters as mainstream as Main Street, this fine novel is far more a great read than message
tale." —Tom Corcoran, author of Air Dance Iguana, Jimmy Buffett-The
Key West Years, and Key West in Black and White
“This story is not only well-written, it is engaging and heartfelt. Minniti’s
professional background as a teacher provides the experiential background that is so well-suited to her story.” -Connie Langhorst, author of Finding Happy
"If you want
a quick-to-read novel to put in your suitcase this vacation, grab Project June Bug. This is a
book to squawk over." -Tampa Bay Woman
"You will laugh, cry, and cheer as you read about a system that is meant to help children but all too often
falters. You will grow to love both teacher and student. Most importantly, you may learn a few things you did not previously
know about ADHD." -ADHD
& LD Resource Blog
"Project June Bug is an enjoyable book and one
you will knock out in one sitting. Whether you're an educator or a parent, you will learn something new. Project June
Bug is a recommended read for anyone interested in ADHD or in the public education system.

-South Jersey Mom
"An entertaining, informative tome for all audiences, especially
teachers...readers will find that Project June Bug has a sassy, light tone that tempers the serious subject." - NewsWeekly
"ADHD is not a 'controversial' diagnosis. It is accepted
as a valid medical diagnosis by every major medical body in at least 53 countries. But nothing gets across fact better than
a good story, and Project June Bug does just that." -Gina
Pera, author of Is It You, Me, or Adult A.D.D.?
"The first time I read it, it was a sit down, don't-bother-me-until-I'm-done marathon reading
session. Each successive time has been a means for me to deal with different episodes in the life of my ADHD son and
ADD combined-type daughter. Thank you for this wonderful reading experience." -Larissa
Vann, daughter of Ray Dix (author of Death Row Defender)
